I bought the 77" and 55" versions of this TV last year and I'm very impressed with them. The Anti-Glare coating alone is awesome. I will never buy another TV without it. You don't realize how much glare there is until it's not there.

The S90 has anti-glare? I thought that was only on the S95F.

Yeah.... but here's the thing..... The Anti-Glare filter as with the wide viewing filters (eg..X-Wide Angle' technology) they dimmish picture quality.... color brightness, saturation and overall contrast ratio.
Granted this Samsung model does a better job in preserving picture quality than others...

Have had this TV for a year and while the OS sucks a little the picture quality punches above its weight

Well.. I'm not trying to beat the issue into the ground butif your TV did not have that filter the picture quality would be even better. [youtu.be]
Personally... I prefer a TV as glossy as possible and with minimal viewing angles because it equals great picture quality !!

The S90d isn't matte so you are kind of just beating a dead horse...

best time to buy a TV is when its announced at CES, maximizes time you can say you have the best TV and also asserts dominance that you paid full price.
