Unlike the best deal this past January when Costco put TurboTax Deluxe on sale for $44.99 and Amazon matched it but with a $10 Amazon gift card, there is no $10 gift card at Amazon this time around. I may wait until January to see if Amazon adds the $10 gift card.

We've been waiting for this, but this seems pretty bad deal right. It looks like last year on January 18. I got premier for $55 now it's $72?

I remember last year Amazon shook up the TurboTax deal, doing an okay after-Thanksgiving deal instead of the better one after Christmas with the $10 GC. Many of us waited, thinking we'd get the better Christmas deal, and when it didn't happen, I know there was a lot of annoyance at not pulling the trigger on the T-day sale.

But then, about three weeks later, Amazon had the better deal around January 18, 2025, which included the $10 GC. I suspect they are going to follow the same routine this year too, so for now, I'm going to pass on this deal.

Costco just put TT Deluxe on sale for $45.99 but it contains a $10 credit that can be used toward state filing.

I purchased this desktop version on Black Friday once it was pretty bad had to go online and repurchase it online and do it online through them like I usually do...

Amazon usually offers the $10 gift card on the day after Black Friday

Every year I buy this I get torn over the same problem.

I BARELY trade any stocks. I usually buy and lose money on options with Robinhood a few times a year. I like that with the premium I log into my Robinhood account and everything transfers over all E Z P Z.

Do I need the premier for this or can I do it with deluxe?
