Holding out for the amazon deal. They usually have it right after Christmas. However, for 2025 the deal wasn't live until January 18.

Note that this won't run if you are using Windows 10.
You can file online with Intuit but it's much more expensive.

Yes, I see Product Upgrade as one of the options. $10 credit can also be used for State Product which is not included

But the upgrade fee will typically be more expensive. Deluxe is sufficient for people with stock investments. It can import all the tax records from most financial institutions.

Just curious: why hold off? Does the in-product credit not work for you? In my case I have to file state taxes which has a ~$20 fee which the $10 credit would go towards to.

Amazon has this for the same price right now (without the 10 dollar credit, I think...). Is there a better deal that usually comes later?

Where do you see state product not included? Says right on the product image, federal + state. On the costco site under product details, the matrix comparison shows "1 state via download" for the deluxe version.

I don't recall state filing fees ever being included. Federal is (for up to 5 filings).
