From my experience, local nursery will either come out cheaper or same. Its better to get from local nurseries as its less of a shock to plants when they arrive or being planted.

Also, I had ordered a bunch from fast growing trees and one had an issue. Reached out to their customer support as there was this 1 year live and thrive gurantee. Support i got from there was laughable and knew more about plants then they knew..

I haven't ordered from fast growing trees, but I have ordered numerous plants and cuttings from Etsy and a couple other websites that ship trees. I just want to piggyback off the comment about shock and say you are absolutely correct. Every single plant and cutting I have ordered online ended up dying shortly after receipt.

I have ordered 1 from them and 1 from Etsy after a hurricane wiped out several of my trees. Both are doing amazing, initial shock was just a few bottom leaves turned brown but they recovered without any issues.
