I have this and the P1S and love them both. The Elegoo has become my primary printer other than when I'm doing multicolor as it prints just as well and faster based on my testing.

I just checked, and it's $264 with coupon code right now (RDT56C), but it regularly fluctuates. Just a few days ago it was $232 with coupon code, if you check Slickdeals. Also, a replacement hotend can be had for as little as $10 for the TZ models (same hotend that many replace the Bambu hotends with) or $25 on sale for the Conch, which is a massive upgrade over pretty much every hotend that comes stock on any consumer printer. I'm printing at over 50 mm3/s with my 0.4mm nozzle, and over 70mm3/s with a 0.6mm nozzle, all with basic PLA.
probably US only but there's a $23 "additional charges" fee that's hidden at the bottom of the checkout page of ali for that printer.

how much is the extruder heater? my understanding is that the stock heater will not maintain 320+ temps

The heater comes on the hotends. The cheap $10 hotends (TZ) still use the same 40w heater as stock, so it'll struggle to maintain over 320C printing, though they print at 320C all day fine. The Conch comes with a either 50w or 60w heater (don't remember which), and prints fine at 350C. If you don't mind modding the cheap hotend, a 50-60w heater is only $2-$3 on Ali, but I think the Conch is worth the upgrade instead if you want to print hot.
This or the P2S? The combo with AMS 2 is $640 after paypal's 20% off, or $440 without AMS... That's only about $150 more than this printer, but otoh it only prints up to 300* vs 320 for the centauri

I've had this since September and no complaints. I dont print every day and any of my issues were fixed by repositioning and re-slicing something. If anything I have more problems with Overture PLA filament getting tangled on the roll then this printer.
