Same price as Mint, right? Any reason to opt for Tello instead? My annual deal is about to end.
I've used both and didn't notice any difference in service. Main reason is that tello is month to month versus paying for and being locked in for a year up front, which for some people is a pretty big draw. You can also easily change your tello plan each month with the cheapest option being around $5/month, so for people like me who use it as a spare/work phone with variable usage can save a few bucks.

I've only had Tello so I can't compare but IMO when this deal is up, you can just change your plan on the fly with their app. This will allow you to cater more to your specific use case, as far too many people are overpaying for Unlimited everything, when their actual needs are far less. Also good for Seniors who don't use their phones a lot. I got my mom a line all in $6.31 a month cheap way to have an emergency phone.

I'm sure there's a cap but not sure what it is. I only use it as a secondary, occasional line and for that purpose it's great. They offer a lot of flexibility in that you can literally change your plan at any time through their website and are easy to port out from.

Also, if you choose a different plan on Tello that has data and minutes, you can roll over what you don't use by renewing a day early each month. I have been able to build up both quite a bit on my $7 plan.
Which plan is better: US Mobile Unlimited Premium at $14/month (upfront total $168, tax included) or Tello at $15/month (month-to-month)?
Good that you mentioned the USMobile deal, which I think is very compelling. You get locked in for 12 months but it's good timing, around/after BF so you can see what other companies offer next year at this time. The big plus for me is 20GB of data abroad (monthly), which I estimate is worth $15-20 for overseas eSIMs, depending on the country, etc. The included smartwatch add-on can also be a big deal for some, that's usually $10/month I think. On Thanksgiving day, USMobile mentioned or implied you have to stay on Light Speed (T-Mobile) the whole time, but that doesn't appear to be spelled out now. In any case, you can get a second number/eSIM with automatic network switching for half off, which is great for any coverage issues. Otherwise, the Tello deal looks good for flexibility or second phones. For second phones/seniors, though, I would get one of Ultramobile's current deal plans, like 4GB/$6.50 month, annual prepaid.

Infimobile has Black Friday offer $60 a year (full year!) for 5Gb a month with 2500 min talk and 2500 text monthly. Or $99 a year for unlimited data. Definitely the best deal in this class! I have used them for a year now no issues. Use coupon code NHC480U for extra $5! And if you're buying eSIM nothing to ship, use any Nevada address to make it almost tax free, just a few cents!

I wonder if I downgrade my plan from unlimited to 5GB plan, will it let me pick unlimited plan with this promo?

"Attempting to cancel or downgrade an existing Unlimited plan in order to open a new one does not qualify for the promotion."
I wanted to give it a try. I am on the $25/month Unlimited = 50GB/month and 10GB Hot Spot.
