Wouldn't this happen with any oven if you touch the heating element though? It looks like the door would pull out the tray a bit to make it easier to grab things as well.

Seems like this would be good for toasting but not so much for air frying since there is no convection fan. Might be easier to clean without the fan also.

These infrared elements are a lot hotter than normal ovens. On the contrast these toasters don't heat up ambient space so it cooks a bit weirdly too.

Toasts bread quickly, anything with thickness is problematic such as meatloaf . The infrared can't go through that much thickness so it's slower sort of
