Some are arguing the 880 is worse... The biggest issue with the 880 over this 765, isn't the more power, which is objectively more better. But rather that they moved from all physical controls to an obnoxious LCD screen, where to set the auto-pilot speed, you need to feather the trigger and hit "lock" at just the right speed. Which means, stop what you're doing, look at the LCD, fiddle with the trigger, and then hit lock. Whereas with the 765 you just spin a speed selector with your thumb, which you can do blindfolded.

I'm certain other people will have different opinions, and that's fine, but I'm a physical control person over LCD nonsense. Particularly on yard tools.

This includes the nozzle and strap. It just doesnt have the battery and charger.

When I was researching the 765 vs 880, a review said that if you have a 2.5Ah battery, you won't be able to use the 880 at full strength. It will be limited to ~50% power.

That was my deciding factor, since I already had a 2.5Ah battery I'd like to get use out of.

Haven't used the 880 but have had the 765 for two years now and often wish it was more powerful. 765 does have turbo mode but drains battery very quickly.

This model or another? I don't see anything that was posted for the 765, I would jump on that for only $200 if the same model.
