Not trying to be a smart aleck, but if someone can't move 38#, they probably don't need a ladder this tall or complicated.

I don't like mine. Versatile so I won't get replace it, but heavy and most of the steps are very thin/uncomfortable. I would rather have 2 ladders.

I'm an insurance adjuster and have had this ladder for 4 years. I use it 4-8 times a day. Contractors always ask me how much I paid for it and the ones with gorillas always tell me they wish they would have paid a little more for the Little Giant.
This ladder is one of the best purchases I've ever made and I paid 250 for it back then. 175 is a no brainer. BUY THIS LADDER!

Good price, however at 38 lbs, it maybe too heavy and cumbersome to be safely moved and maneuvered by one person. Are there lighter alternatives?

Have the 17 version with wheels and leveling legs. Well worth it. However, European markets have the Conquest 2.0 Pro and that's annoying af. Other than the gorilla ladder built in platform deck, it's the best all around ladder.

Pulled the trigger as I needed a bigger ladder than the 6ft at home. Figure this is the only ladder that I'll ever need to buy. I would have preferred the MagaLite+ pro bundle directly from Little Giant Ladders for $239, but shipping kills the deal ($90!).

Agree , I also have the 17 version with wheels and leveling legs which I bought several years ago on a BF deal and its has been the best most versatile ladder I have ever owned. That's why I went and bought this one yesterday as I needed a little more reach at times. GF bought the Gorilla version a couple years ago and I don't think it works as well as this personally

You get this size ladder only when a smaller version will not work for your task, absolutely no other reason. It is heavy and it is very tricky to stand up to a roof when it is fully extended. Unless you are really tall (just a guess but more then 6'5 with a long arm span), as you are walking it up, you can't get your arms high enough and you will pass the center of gravity of the ladder before getting it beyond 45 degrees up and it will tip back down behind you. Might not make sense but will the first time you try to stand it up fully extended. You can stand the ladder up and clumsily raise the top portion that way or put it up against the house at the bottom and walk it up and then walk it out but it can get unwieldy. I still have an old school extension ladder for this reason which is dead simple to fully extended and it is much lighter. You won't have that issue if using it just as an A frame ladder or do not need to fully extend it flat.

I have 2 Werner versions of these and they are even heavier. 22ft @47lbs and the 14ft @23lbs. Top quality stable and rock solid ladders, but heavy.

I have fluctuated between 290-315 lbs for the 4 years I've owned this ladder. Add clothes and a huge tool belt and my 325 lb ass has gone up and down these steps thousands and thousands of times. I never felt uncomfortable. The steps aren't thin

I'm a generic construction worker and I've used this said ladder for 80 years. Contractors always ask me how much I paid for it and then deeply yearn for it. They wish they had paid a little more and gotten this instead of Lil G.
