Don't you need two for 240v? In that case makes sense even if you don't need 10kw

No, they indicate they can output 240V split phase, so only one should still be able to do 240V.

Just be aware of the 16amp pv battery charge limit.

I think the 16amps is wrong. Eco-worthy notorious for listing wrong specifications

I have two of these and they are marketed as Anenji. https://anenji.com/products/12kw-...l-function. You can find installation manual/tech specs here, https://cdn-files.myshopline.com/...Manual.pdf
This is the cheapest split phase inverter right now and $2100/2 is a good price. I got mine with some EW batteries so price was about the same. I probably would have opted for a pricier, more app featured inverter but I needed parallel two to build a 24KW system for multiple 240V devices (2 waterheaters, oven, induction cooktop, well pump) and some 120V circuits so this is the lowest price option.

How do you like them so far? Seems like a lot of people are going for the 10k ones

This Anenji is a very basic inverter and the 10KW one (marketed by Eco-Worthy) is SRNE which I believe has own app/more features. Another good thing going 10KW is theoretically it would work with two rack batteries (48V 100Ah = 2 x 48 x 100 = 9600W) but probably won't back up for long. If you go with 12KW, you will need at least 3 rack batteries increasing cost.

Who's down voting for the statement. If you're going to get a permit for the installation, i doubt it would pass without some kind of safety certification.
