I already bought this just an hour back. Thinking if I should cancel that and get this. https://www.walmart.com/ip/HP-Omn...3968860429

Both look like solid choices. Hoping for some input as well to decide.

The one you bought is much better hardware (new gen CPU and RAM, etc.,). This Vivo can't be compared to HP, you can compare this Vivo with this: https://www.bestbuy.com/product/a...ku/6638906

16:10 screen is much better than 16:9.

I think this one is a better deal: https://www.walmart.com/ip/seort/13943258180

Basically the same laptop but with a more powerful AMD processor and better graphics for less money ($449). Its not as efficient as the Intel version.... it states the Intel one can last 19 hours on a charge while the AMD version is 15hrs.

Both of the HPs are better than the deal posted here. They have 2K screens that are 300 nits versus the albeit larger 1080p screen on the posted deal that is only good for 250 nits.

The laptop you linked has much better specs. However, it is 16" instead of 17.3" (which is why I bought the Asus, I wanted a laptop with a large screen for my wife), if specs are more important than screen size the HP is a nice looking laptop. With that said, I have had much better experience with Asus (I have used their motherboards since the late 90s for my desktop PCs and have had 6 of their laptops) than HP from a quality standpoint but I know a lot of people have had bad experiences with Asus as well. Good luck!

I purchased this laptop because I wanted the larger 17.3" screen, otherwise the other laptop that was linked has better specs. I also much prefer Asus to HP. If performance is top priority and the size of the laptop screen makes no difference for you the more expensive HP is better all around, it is also more expensive.
