They don't allign properly, lifting from edges, easily cracked. Read the negative reviews. When those are mostly saying the same things, thats when you want to make the choice. Money ain't a thing when you're trying to protect a $500 device, my brother.

I have the matte version. Installation was a breeze...it lined up perfectly and no bubbles. So far the screen cover has no cracks, chips or any other blemishes, and looks as good as the day I installed it.

I have the regular amFilm one's on all 3 of the Switch 1's in my household and never had an issue with them. I bought it for less than $5. If it sucks, I'll just ask Amazon for a refund.

Does it really impact colors as much as they say it does?

From my point of view, who cares how beautiful the colors look if all you see are bright reflections lol.

I bought it a few days ago and installed it. Probably the easiest protector i've ever had to install, it's INSANELY crystal clear and hard to tell that it's even on the screen. I am very careful with my stuff, so i couldn't tell you how it will hold up to getting whacked or scratched or something, but i'm happy with it.
