Walmart has the same laptop for $479.00, the difference is the Walmart laptop has a more powerful processor (Intel Core Ultra 7 255U).

Yeah I just remembered the cash back is good for today only 20%. It's very hit or miss for me, sometimes they exclude big electronic items in their terms like desktops. Hope it comes through! I think the Costco deal is better for my sibling because the extra year of warranty/90 day return. Her use is only for basic web browsing and occasional Word/PDF use so the additional CPU power wouldn't make a difference for her.
