Was shocked this wasn't posted yet - best 40" TV deal I've seen with a QLED display + actual HDR support (deal 11/27–12/1).
HDR on a 1080p TV is insanely rare (most can't get bright enough to show it), and QLED is better than LED due to more vibrant / accurate colors.

For gaming maybe but unless it can negotiate 4k and scale down theres not much 1080p HDR content. I know there is some on Netflix and Disney+ but it's somewhat limited. At least last I checked. For $40 more you can get a 43" qled which is 4k and can do DV and HDR. https://slickdeals.net/f/18803887-43-hisense-qd6-series-qled-4k-uhd-smart-fire-tv-43qd6qf-2025-model-170-free-shipping with arguably a larger apps library through the fire store.

I think this was the best 43" QLED deal this holiday. I picked this up as well. I prefer 40", also 4K isn't noticeable at 8 feet away so for me the 1080P would have been fine (also probably zero content I watch is in 4K, reality tv and anime), but given it was just ~$30 more I picked this up to see how I like it. I am sensitive to size and was happy with the 32" being centered in my vision, I'll see how the 43" TV is and if I can get used to it (I think I should be able to, it not I'll stick with 40").
