Is this different from the Best buy one? Looks to be $50 more.

I see that, I mean other than different brand, is this worth $50 more for some reason?

HP is fine lol. One of my best gaming monitors was the HP Omen x34

Looks very similar from what I can tell. This one has a 16" screen, and 2 USB C ports vs the 15'6" Screen and 1 USB C port on the HP. But other than that, identical specs. At least from what I can see on the pic on the website.

Different brands and build qualities, screen dimensions and ports. Quantitatively, the Asus is 0.21 lbs. lighter and supposedly has 18 hours of battery life over 12 for the Victus. Not worth it in my opinion for how much this sticks out like a sore thumb in public.

Agreed don't buy a HP or Dell computer because they are disabling native HEVC and other types or hardware encoding. This can cause streaming videos issues etc.

"HP and Dell have disabled hardware acceleration for the HEVC/H.265 codec on select newer business laptops, including the ProBook 600 G11, 400 G11, and 200 G9 lines. This decision is reportedly due to rising licensing fees for the HEVC codec, which could cost manufacturers millions when scaled over large volumes. Users with affected laptops may need to rely on software workarounds or purchase third-party HEVC Video Extensions codec from the Microsoft Store to play HEVC content"

You don't really want to buy any 15-inch laptops from HP, but their 16-inch models are fine

BestBuy allows the 4 pay paypal plan for that 20% back. Walmart doesn't. That's what drove me to get the victus. I love ASUS if it had the same deal.

This is not the laptop you're looking for. Not TUF at all. The polar opposite of durable.

The Staples Asus deal is better with 4060 GPU for $50 more. The deal is available occasionally for several months
