Have this. I bought because it's free standing. But don't get it expecting deep carpet cleaning. Does fine on hardwood though.

Yup have fun returning this to Amazon in a few months if something goes wrong. I'd pay a decent amount more to buy from Costco even if theirs didn't come with an extra battery.

Bought one from Amazon and it works perfectly fine on my hardwood floors, we have no carpet in the house. Tried it on Rugs as well. The only thing that would make me happier is if the wall mounted dock had a place to put the 2nd battery. Kinda pain to just sit it to the side.

Jeez, you're not kidding. I read about the little latch breaking in a few costco reviews but it seems like it's way more widespread than I thought

I just bought this from Costco on 11/25. The savings says starts from 11/27. Am I able to return and repurchase?

While we're at it, any other comparable vacuum I should return and pickup? Mostly hardwood floors with some area rugs.

I like this because it stands on it's own. It's not the best for carpet but it's fine for hardwood. So if you're happy then just stick with it. If you don't care about the freestanding benefit then this is better according to Consumer Reports. https://www.lg.com/us/vacuum-clea...=affiliate
