  • Built with a stainless-steel retraction mechanism each ratchet strap has proprietary lubricant and inners workings to ensure the smoothest, most durable retraction for easy strap storage and spring protection.
  • Encased with a full armor ratchet body and caps, it's the most heavily protected ratchet on the market.
  • Full armor protects the retraction mechanism, metal ratchet components, and cargo for long-lasting use.
  • Coated black steel components make up the ratchet, which extends the product's life by resisting corrosion in the toughest weather conditions.
  • Ergonomic handle is built from tough materials for lasting comfort and control—paired with a padded quick-release that retracts excess strap length for compact storage.

What a weird thing to have fragile masculinity about.

The self retracting don't save you any labor. You still have to ratchet them down. Their primary benefit is that the excess strap rolls up back inside the body instead of hanging down the side of the truck and needing to be secured.

This is something I can probably use but never bothered purchasing. Is this a good price?

The straps are only 10 feet long.
How long does it take to simply wrap them by hand? $25 per strap is not slick, in my book.

You can get ones that don't have the auto-retract mechanism for a few bucks each at Harbor Freight (in a pack of 4).

You can get a set of Rhino ones for about $30 that will be fine for most people if you really want the retracting. These are nice because they roll into themselves so they are easier to pack and you don't have to secure the extra strap. Non retracting ones are dirt cheap on HF and even HD branded ones.

While expensive for straps, I think some are missing the fact that these are 2" straps good for a true 1100lbs working load *per strap* and not cheap 1" straps good for only maybe 500lbs, usually less in reality.

I'm actually surprised there's vine reviews for these. Can't believe they gave them out.

I didn't know I needed retractable straps before this post. Now I can't live without them. I was going to pick up a pack of these and then four lighter duty (~1") straps. Does anyone have any recommendations on the lighter straps? I was looking at the 10' Strapinnos at $52 for four, or the Augo 10' straps at $57 for four.

I've wanted these but they're always high as giraffe ass even on sale. Been rocking the same husky four pack (and a bag!) That I got forever ago. They look like crap but I trust em for my wood purchases.
