I am forum lurker; however, I just bought this for a gamer as an early Christmas present. I normally am in the audiophile space. I love my Series XS... I have the FIO FT1 and Philip XHR2s. These really surprised me. When equalized, these really had great sound. Not just for gaming; however, good music sound to. I enjoyed it so much I bought one myself to replace my FIO FT1 for gaming sessions. It was comfortable to me. Some might fight the material scratchy though.

I got these EQ settings from a YouTuber I followed. When I activated them, it made a world of difference. I would highly recommend loading these specs to get better sound:

The reviews on these are very positive but two common complaints are the comfort and some quality issues. Particularly with the headband.

That's what stopped me. I have a large head... and reports of tightness worry me. The Sony XM5 fit fine though, for anyone that has tried both, can you comment on this?
