Thank You!
I am not a Mac guy and never really used Mac OS since about 30 years ago at school.
I found one of these in the trash
The lightning version but I have win 11
I heard it can be used with the right drivers but not sure it supports all the same features it does on Mac OS
I hear people complaining about the ergonomics of it .
What else is wrong with it?
It seems to be a love it or hate it product.
The one I found works fine and is cosmetically fine

Gestures? Maybe, but I wasn't going to use it long enough to even attempt. We even had one of those bizarre circular puck mice, but this dethroned it as the worst I'd ever used.
I just looked this up, as my mind was blown this is still made...
Quote from Google/Gemini:
Yes, the USB-C port is still on the bottom of the Magic Mouse, which means you cannot use it while it is charging. This design has been carried over despite updates and user criticism, as the port's location helps maintain the mouse's visual symmetry and low-profile shape.
- Design choice: Apple has kept the port on the bottom for aesthetic reasons, such as maintaining a symmetrical and wireless-looking design, as explained by Daring Fireball and ZDNET.
- Usability: The location makes the mouse unusable during charging because it must be turned upside down to be plugged in.
- Consistency: The port has remained on the bottom for nearly a decade, even with updates like the switch to a USB-C connector, notes The Verge and TechRadar.
Just.... Wow... Aesthetics? Like a beautiful screen door on a submarine....Sign up for a Slickdeals account to remove this ad.
