A typical Geekbench 6 single-core score for a laptop Core i5 5 years ago would be a Tiger Lake processor, and score approximately 1,150-1,300, while the multi-core score ranges from approximately 4,000-5,000.
The Snapdragon x1-26-100 has a Geekbench 6 score of 2125 and multi-core of 10596.
Obviously, good for those that understand some apps, drivers, and games will never run on a SnapX cpu, and willing to stick mostly to Microsoft apps for the best compatibility.

This Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3x is a strong budget Windows on ARM laptop for everyday use, especially web browsing, email, Word, streaming, and other normal tasks. The Snapdragon X chip gets praised for staying cool, quiet, and efficient, with solid battery life, a touch screen, backlit keyboard, fingerprint reader, Wi Fi 7, and USB C charging alongside the included 65W barrel charger. The main caution is compatibility, since some legacy apps, printer drivers, games, and creator or business workflows may need ARM native versions or may not work well. It feels like a capable low cost pick if your software is already ARM friendly.
The Snapdragon laptop can handle everyday tasks like email, web surfing, and Microsoft Word smoothly.
The laptop can deliver strong battery life and stays cool without loud fan noise during normal use.
Native ARM apps like Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Office, and WhatsApp can run on Windows ARM.
The included 65W barrel charger can also charge the laptop via USB-C for convenient power options.
The Snapdragon X1-26-100 performance can feel slow because it lacks a boost clock and is compared to older Intel i5-class chips.
USB-C charging can be slow in practice, and screen brightness can affect USB-C charging speed.
Printer support can be limited on Windows ARM, and USB printer connections may be unreliable for some models.
Docking and external display use can be inconvenient because the laptop has only one USB-C port and limited DisplayPort/HDMI support.

Edit: I'll revisit my comment about USB-C charging. It may have been processing an update in the background during my test.
Edit #2: Yeah it's slow but bearable. The update was affecting it. Screen brightness definitely affects the USB-C charging speed.

note: all I do is browse the web, youtube, etc. More or less what a chromebook is good for.

The issue seems to be windows at the end of the day. If these CPUs were paired with ChromeOS or Android, you know they'd be incredibly deadly. Windows in general is meh compared to Linux performance.

I am considering using the microsoft browser, whatever it's called, instead of Chrome/Brave. If all else fail, maybe I slap LINUX on here. If LINUX even works well with the Snap. Thanks for the reply. Gives me something to think about.
