I can respect that. But I feel like the battery is terrible for even casual web browsing away from the plug. I want to cpu chips that are more efficient at the low end. I think they are coming. Not there yet.
You can definitely get over 5 hours and even more on just casual web browsing. You have the laptop use the integrated GPU and not the dedicated GPU for one and then turn down some CPU wattage.

Ended up biting on this one, have been waiting on a 5080/5070ti deal for a bit for a lenovo. Actually bought my son the acer deal two days ago for xmas (5070ti one on ebay), and was going to get a second one of those (it's still a better bang for buck but i love lenovo build quality. Was able to use tech partner discount 8% + 20% paypal + 10% cb ... Already shows pending on paypal just had to use the monthly option (not 4 pay) and will pay it off before first payment with interest is due. Really solid deal thanks op.
Is there not a $1500 limit for paypal?

$200 for an upgrade to 5080 is a no brainer deal. You can also get 10% cashback through the site that can't be mentioned, but you know what it is.

Up to $1000 cashback. So on a 20% you could buy up to $5000 and get $1000 back. Anything costing more you would hit the max of $1000 CB.
Is it PayPal4 20% cashback??

Ivd never used cash back before, but I think I know which one you're talking about. Do you simply create an account, click on that 10% promo and purchase through Lenovo?

Follow the link, add to cart, go to checkout, then exit out of the browser before completing checkout... You may get a targeted offer via email for a much higher % reward - I've got targeted offers as high as 52% up to $500 on Lenovo - got myself a Legion 7i Gen 10 new from Lenovo for around $1100 after all rebates.

Easy 5 hours on quiet mode and Nvidia GPU turned off. If you want more the Zephyrus G16 will get you 1-2 hours more. I don't need that much off the plug.

EDIT: Took mine on a 14 hour plane flight and with a Anker 100Wh USBC powerbank I got about 11 hours.

My regular offers are low, but it's showing 30% in the second scrolling box on the portal page.
What is the scrolling box on the portal page?

Just keep scrolling down the page until one for Lenovo pops up. I scrolled forever before it was seen. It was only 20% for me.

Why do you need to split it?
The same reason people put door dash on a payment plan. Debt slavery.

It's because the max purchase you can make with PayPal pay in 4 is $1500.

Every gaming laptop in the history of laptops is meant to be plugged in. There has NEVER been one with a high powered top of the line gpu that last more than an hour or two unplugged. This argument is so tired and irrelevant
