Great product to lower electricity/gas costs in winter. Pays for itself.

This is the same brand, for also 10 windows but for $15. What are the differences? The other one is much cheaper

That's rolled, you have to cut to size, others are pre-measured, a lot less work IMO.

This is good for rooms that either only you see or are hardly used in the winter. Bedrooms, basements, side entrances, anywhere you get a lot of cold air seeping in. where you have older, less energy efficient windows. Spending $15-20K on new windows throughout your house is a pricey outlay. If this cuts your energy bill down by $100 over the course of 3-4 months, pays for itself.

Obviously you're not going to put this on your dining room window to serve Christmas dinner.

Electricity goes up 30% in CT in January and it is the top 3 highest in the country.

If you aren't using this for money saving and worried about the aesthetics then you shouldn't be in this thread anyway ๐Ÿ˜‚

My attic has two vents/openings that are the size of windows, they have no covers so in the winter the attic is almost the same temperature as outside.
Would this be good to put over the vents?

If you can get these affixed with a snug fit around the openings, I would think so. It likely won't block 100% but it should help a good deal. There's a lot of videos and reviews at the link how people have been using them that may give you more useful info than I can. I'm giving you an educated guess, not from experience.
