This Legion Tower 5 Gen 10 stands out as a strong prebuilt value for a Ryzen 7 7800X3D and RTX 5070 build with 32GB DDR5 and a 1TB SSD. The air cooled Legion design is described as quiet and more than adequate, and the price looks especially attractive for a new architecture system. The main knocks are that it is not liquid cooled, the RTX 5070 has only 12GB of VRAM, and the 1TB SSD and one year warranty feel modest next to pricier alternatives. A solid compact gaming tower if those tradeoffs fit your plans.
prebuilt buyers who want a strong value on a new-architecture gaming tower because commenters called it "probably the best deal" they've seen for a prebuilt with new architecture.
people comparing Lenovo Legion Tower 5 deals who specifically want the AMD/7800X3D + RTX 5070 configuration because one commenter said the Intel/255 + 5070 Ti setup appears to be the better deal versus the AMD/5070 option, implying this AMD/5070 bundle is the one to consider when you're not targeting the 5070 Ti variant.
buyers who care about liquid cooling because one commenter said "It's not Liquid Cooling. Hard pass."
buyers who want easy long-term upgradeability because commenters raised concerns the mobile-class processor could be soldered to the motherboard, making upgrades difficult or impossible.
buyers who are sensitive to noise or overheating risk because commenters said reviews are "yikes," speculated it "shouldn't be loud," and suggested issues like OEM fans or overheating could be a problem (even if returns help).
buyers who expect the CPU to deliver top performance for the price because one commenter reported their research found the Core Ultra 7 255HX in their laptop was 45.1% faster than the desktop CPU, leading to a "Hard pass."
1440p gamers who are worried about future VRAM needs because a commenter questioned whether the RTX 5070 12GB VRAM may be too low for 2025 1440p gaming and wondered about how easy it would be to sell/upgrade later.

Edit: He is right, this does seem like the better deal with the 255 and the 5070TI.

Tempted to buy this as I still have the PayPal 20% off, so all in would be just over $1,100. But concerned the 12gb VRAM in the 5070 is already too low for 2025 1440p gaming. Wonder how easy it would be to sell and just get a better card in the future
