These have literally been at this price since October 6th. I sure wish there was a way to block staff posts because they are always commission harvesting and not actually giving anything of value.

True. Some of them are just pure trash. I worry about fake reviews on the product. Those sellers slip in them money to promote them. Just like the ones on Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, etc.

I checked TCG and price tracker before posting:

TCG has only about 20 copies that are less than this price. Most sellers have like 1-4 in stock.

Maybe adjust the charting on your price tracker to actually reflect the buy box and not just amazon's price. These have been been FBA for $33.95 or below since October 6th, just not from Amazon.

Your post is extremely deceptive and I'll attach a legit keepa screenshot.

Staff posts are why slickdeals is the last place I now go to visit for deals. This is what happens when websites put profits in front of customer happiness.

I have no way to check third party sellers so I check TCGP to gauge market price. It seems that this is good price per offers that TCGP displays

Third party seller charting is available through keepa, the exact same place you posted that extremely deceptive screenshot from, as shown by my keepa screenshot showing this is not a deal in the least bit and this price has not changed for 2 months.

The fact a staff member with 55,000 posts on this website doesn't know how to see third party seller info on amazon tells me everything I need to know about the trajectory of this place.

This deal is for Amazon as seller. I would not post deal on MTG from third party seller. Even when I post from Amazon members raise concerns about buying directly from Amazon.

There's literally no difference. Whather its sold by amazon or a third party if it's fulfilled by Amazon It's coming from the same stock as the Amazon product at the warehouse.

How can you possibly not know this?

You're either unbelievably incompetent or being really dishonest to defend a deal you know isn't a deal.

It makes me sad how thirsty mtg collectors are these days. It's baffling. We used to get precons for 20 dollars regularly, now even buying a set of 5 you will be lucky to average 25 each before taxes/shipping.

I don't believe it's player driven anymore, just odd collectors and scalpers. They print 100x as much product as they did 10 years ago, there aren't even double the playerbase from 10 years ago. Yet sealed product continues to rise in price while actual set value stagnates outside of chase cards, ultra rares, serialized. It's a joke.

I won't do it anymore. Proxies for anything that I don't think is special.

Not to defend The Man, but when were precons ever $20, other than the handful that were released at that MSRP? They were typically $40 MSRP (now $50 unless there's UB tax) and many got jacked up on the secondary market quickly. I mean, you do you, but I have to question this revisionist version of history you're putting out there.

Did you even read that article?

You really can't be serious...

They started to change it on some things...

I can tell you for an absolute fact they are not doing this for magic cards as the magic boxes come with the regular UPC codes, not the new labels they are using.
