I agree and true but apart from chassis (9i body feels premium for sure) internals are very identical.

Yes, but there are some minor differences. The speakers on the Yoga 9i are noticeably better, 6 stereo speakers vs the 4 on the 5i. The Webcam and the microphones on the 9i are also better.

I agree the Yoga 9i counts toward the premium series for a reason. Geekbench results for the 285H series are pretty close, and an extra $500 is not worth it, but Costco had ONE day sale (sold out within 12 hrs).
