FYI, Certified Refurb (with 1yr Bose warranty) in black is available on Woot right now for $126. Not quite as good a deal as when they were $112 on Friday, but still more than 20% cheaper than this price. Bose customer service is awesome, so there's little downside in going with a Refurb unit.

good point! but me personally, i would never feel comfortable buying any kind of used headphones. i know you can obviously swap the ear pads out and possibly even replace them altogether with a great customer service team/warranty, but i just can't

While I like the features of the XM4s, the clamp force & "sweaty" ears i get using them made me return them. I just snagged a pair of ultras that I'll be trying out tomorrow & I'll keep either the qc or the ultras.

The Costco ones are the regular QuietComfort but with a soft case. Costco and Sam's sell it as QuietComfort SC but the only difference is the soft case. They sell the hard cases on eBay for like $15 if you want one if you still want to buy at Costco.

That was a sweet deal. It was $160, and came with a $30 promotional credit (good on ANYTHING as long as Amazon is the seller). Card expires after a couple months, which is why is wasn't listed as a gift card.
Unfortunately, that deal expired as I no longer see the $30 coupon to clip. It's still $160 on Amazon (black only, other colors are $200), but without the $30 credit.

Also at Costco for $170 with a soft case and 4 different color options.
