As other have noted, these have absolutely zero stretch. So much that I would recommend busting out a tape measure for your waist before ordering one of these.

Best deal ever for Riggs Ranger rip-stop work pants. Bought 4 pairs without batting an eye. I've been paying $55 at Tractor Supply ever since Carhartt ruined their B01 canvas pants. The stretch comments are hilarious. These are natural fiber rugged work wear tailored for construction, contractors, utility people anyone who requires non-restrictive clothing summer or winter. Triple stitched at stress points. Deep regular pockets designed for easy access. Large cargo pockets on the thigh with heavy duty snaps are great for cell phone. The ones I use for casual wear get rinsed in warm water and hung dry. Natural fiber lasts 10x longer when you avoid hot water detergent washing and the dryer. This avoids fading and shrinkage as well.

Like everything else made these days quality can vary because material specifications and even the country of manufacturing are subject to change. I share my experience with pants purchased from Tractor Supply. If what Amazon sends is of lesser quality then no worries the return date is extended to two months,

Mine do not tear squatting to make installations or crawling under vehicles to make repairs. They are tailored specifically not to be non-restrictive.
