It's been a long time but years ago I remember shopping for 'Tea Tree Special' products and running into a ton of reviews claiming the products were knock-offs with some people having really adverse effects from products they've been long time users of.

The tingle sensation goes away after a month or so... I assume the shampoo loses whatever efficacy that causes that sensation.

I rarely use this on what little scalp hair I have left, but it's the absolute best armpit cleaner around. It is a fine shampoo too. It also is the best dog shampoo we've got, at least as far as causing no irritation. One other brand left his fur softer, but Green Apple is twice as expensive as this. We have a gallon, and we're slowly working through it.
