The BIN on these cards last time was 451129, but that may have changed over the past couple of months. Staples processes their own gift card purchases, so paying with a card that earns well at office supply stores is the best way to get rewards off of these.
The limit is 5 in theory, but 4 in practice; the fee is present in cart as part of the subtotal before the discount kicks in, and Staples will not sell more than a $1,000 subtotal of gift cards in a single transaction. As such, throwing five $200s into your cart will show a message from Staples asking you to remove items from your cart before you can continue.

I just immediately turn them into Costco Shop cards, which gives me 5x Chase UR points on Costco purchases, eliminates the risk of the cards getting drained, and makes it easy to know they'll work for what I need them for.
