While this isn't an exclusive cyber Monday deal, it's still a very good deal. Using Avis with my Amazon account has saved me a lot of money. Never had a bad experience with them, and there were a few times they went over and above to make a rental work.

If you rent semi-frequently and don't have access to a legitimate corporate account, a Costco membership will easily pay for itself within a one ore two rentals. In my experience, they regularly beat out most other non-employer orgs (eg: USAA, AARP) and give you visibility to the best deal across vendors.

In my experience, the only time the Amazon deal has made sense is when you're being reimbursed so you can pocket the GC but aren't paying with your own money.

Always search with all codes and offers for every rental- there are always oddball scenarios.
