4.5 pounds of coffee for the price of 2 lbs is pretty good. Coffee prices are steadily rising. Seattle's Best is owned by Starbucks but independently operated. Good robust flavor.

Coffee beans are especially roasted for espresso machines, and I've read they also recommend getting a burr grinder instead of a blade grinder. If the coffee is bitter, less fine, if too weak, more fine. Recently got an espresso machine myself. This seems to be a very popular brand for espresso beans. (Had a link to Lavazza, but got removed somewhere along the line). Got some beans discounted recently on an amazon deal.
