At the highest resolution it takes a lot of memory space though, so if you can really large objects with the finest resolution the RAM could become limiting at some point. Compared to the laser line or cross laser scanners from the Raptor or Sermoon series, the Ferret has relatively low hardware requirements.

I am guessing it's independent of the brand of printer you are using and this is more of a device to scan and turn into a file like STL or converting whatever format it uses to another file format so you can edit the model to your liking before making the right file to print on a Bambu lab or Creality printer. something akin to taking a photo with a camera and if the camera spits out jpg/gif/png and using a program to edit the file before using a HP printer (file format doesn't matter on the printer, but does on a software editing program).

Enticing...
At 150, the product was just ok. I'm pretty patient and even I was tested with the janky software and meh performance. To be clear, it works, and could be useful, but at 269 that's a terrible price. Try to find a refurbished wired one like me instead, it'll probably be a lot less disappointing.

EDIT: Nevermind - I just saw the video on the site where the guy scans the girl who was working out and is able to print out a bust.
Anyone have experience printing out something like a human bust? Is it easy to do or did you have to break it out into multiple pieces and join them together?
