This is new and a better price than the Oxo Used Mint deal a few days ago. (Oxo Deal is dead, now $75)

How does the Oxo at $55 compared to this Cuisinart at $40?

I have this. It sucks. Every time we use it, it sounds like the motor is about to explode. It's also not very consistent.

This is a workhorse grinder, I had one of these used daily for like a decade. Get this if you want to make multiple pots of coffee a day in a drip coffee machine (small office use is perfect).

The grind quality isn't great though though, it's infinitely better than a blade grinder or buying pre-ground, but the grind size isn't super consistent with a bunch of extra fines (absolutely terrible for french press).

The timer based grinding also makes it difficult to get a precise amount of ground coffee.

If you want really good consistent grinds in this price range for single serving use, a manual grinder like the Kingrinder P2 is a better choice.
