Yes definitely gonna have better long term use with Roku over Fire TV. The Fire TV has an OS that slows down very poorly after a couple of years. However for $130, I'd gladly bypass the issue with an Apple TV.

Is this a decent TV? Seems like a crazy price for a 50" TV. I usually think of Insignia as the cheap TV they sell at Best Buy, not particularly great.

It's a bit odd to throw an expensive media device player at such a cheap TV, unless you want Apple TV no matter what, no? Sort of offsets the deal itself? Maybe not thinking it fully through.
