Community Reviews
LG's 77 inch B5 OLED stands out as a strong value for deep contrast, excellent picture quality, and smooth 120 hertz gaming and streaming. The PayPal rewards stack can make the price especially compelling, with reports of 20 percent back or 25,000 points pending when the offer is available and checkout is done through Pay Later. The main drawback is brightness, since the panel is described as better in darker rooms and prone to glare in bright living spaces. The power cord also appears to be non removable, which matters for some installs. A solid pick if the room lighting and setup fit OLED.
Common Questions (5)
The offer requires saving it in PayPal, then checking out with PayPal Pay Later and choosing Pay in 4 or Pay Monthly if that option appears. It is capped at $1,250 in spend, which means up to $250 back as 25,000 points, and some accounts never received the offer.
It can still work for some accounts, but the offer is not available to everyone and may no longer appear after being saved. Successful checkouts show 25,000 points pending, while others report no luck even with multiple accounts and cards.
If the room is not very bright, the OLED is the better choice; if you have strong ambient light and limited light control, the QM7K or another mini-LED is the safer option. The B5 is also described as a very good deal, especially when stacked with PayPal rewards.
It is better suited to darker rooms and can struggle with glare in bright spaces because its peak HDR brightness is around 630-670 nits on a 10% window and about 150 nits full-screen. For a bright living room, a high-end mini-LED is the safer pick.
No removable plug is reported on the 77" B5, and LG OLEDs generally do not use a removable power cord. If you need to adapt it for another country, an adapter into a surge protector is the simpler workaround mentioned.

If it's available to you, you need to "save" it in your PayPal account.
Go to PayPal and log in to your account
Look for your "offers"
Scroll through the offers and see if there is an offer for 20% cash back on up to $1250 spent ($250 CB)
You must Save the offer within your PayPal account
Shop at stores (like Best Buy) that accept PayPal at check out
When you are at checkout select the PayPal option
Within the PayPal option you must choose "Pay Later" and select either Pay in 4 or Pay Monthly
If you haven't saved the offer, you will not get the 20% cash back reward. If you don't see the "Pay Later" in the PayPal checkout window, you will not get the 20% cash back reward. Not all accounts were given this offer. "Pay Later" is not always an option during PayPal checkout If the option is not there you aren't getting the offer.
There will be no description of 20% cash back during the checkout. Once you have completed the purchase as described, go back and log into your PayPal account and you should see "Points Pending" relating to 20% of your purchase up to 25,000 points
There is a mile long thread on the PayPal 20% in the Hot Deals forum section. Don't muddy this thread up with questions about the 20% CB. The description I gave is pretty thorough. Take your questions there if need be. Good luck.

Payments to complete? Please advise
Tried my other chase CC and said it declined. ($0 balance with 20k credit limit) weird
After those two attempts the PP Pay in 4 disappeared from the PayPal checkout options.
Then went the PP Pay Monthly, got to the final checkout twice got cold feet. Went to finally went to go pull the trigger the third time and now that option also gone.
Moral of the story. Just go full send.
*tried calling up PayPal but there dumb Ai assistant doesn't recognize my yes or 1 keypad presss to connect me to a live person. Doubt they'd be able to do anything.
Amazing TV picture is to die for. Seen the C4 next to the B4, sure the C4 looked better by a hair but, unless you had them side by side in your home, you would never notice the difference.
I only didn't go for it b/c of concern of it being in the living room where we have light coming in from both sides of the house. As much as I want OLED, either I gotta drop a serious dime for the very high-end ones, or I have to go QLED. Think I'm going to go for the mini-LED QLED when I find a good one on sale.
Great deal here - really wish I could have grabbed it!
My budget is to keep it under $2k, but trying to get bang for my buck and not be wasteful either.
I've been looking for Samsung S90D, S90F, LG B4, B5, B6, TCL QM8K and the like. Either going with mini-LED QLED or a reputable OLED, 77"-85".
