Since summer? Really? And do you believe this if not a good deal in your opinion ? I just did not know that and I could not find past expired threads.

@Spaceman6969 I got one during the summer. If you are not concerned about the smaller Hard drive storage, I think it's a great deal, especially without paying tax.

I'm an indie game developer and while my main machine is a MacBook Pro, I picked this up to use when I'm traveling. It can handle Xcode, Unity and Blender, but I'm just aware of the small HDD so I use a portable drive for any large files I need on the go.

I believe this is actually $100 less than the price was this summer. I purchased one then.

It's the same price as it was then, which was a great value. I bought mine a few months ago for this. Great deal, especially without taxes.

Bought the 15 inch this morning. The extra 2 inches is actually massive. Look at a 55 inch TV vs a 65 inch. Looks twice as big. I do all my online buying using AMEX GOLD. Ninety day coverage for theft, or damage.

Both the Mini and the Airs have been on sale about every other month going back at least until summer.
Results you get vary a lot based on what term you search for... but a search for "aafes" brings up deals on this back to at least June.. I quit scrolling at that point.

If you want a MacBook Air, then it's a good price... especially given it's tax free from this seller for eligible buyers. Personally, I'm not a big fan of the very tiny storage included and would buy a higher priced model. It depends how you use the laptop and how much using an Apple OS product matters to you.

I've thought about this but realized that I don't care for portability. I already have my peripherals so Mac mini is the answer for me. I just wish the 512GB Mac mini m4 variant can be had for under $600

I understand and thank you. Unfortunately 256GB is too small for my needs. Need to find Mac mini deals but none

For not much more, I was able to get the 15", 512gb, 24gb version. For a few hundred, it's a completely different tier. Just wait for a good sale.

From AAFES (and the Navy Exchange (NEX) should be likewise):
If you are not found, you may submit your discharge paperwork for manual review. This process will take some research on the part of the VetVerify team. You will receive an email notification when the review is complete. To begin, go to VetVerify.org and submit a new verification form. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

The VetVerify customer service team is happy to assist you if you have any further questions.

ALSO, I would add that I used ID.me to validate my service and linked to my AAFES/NEX access. I didn't use 'VetVerify'. This is info from AAFES regarding the use of ID.me:

AAFES (Army & Air Force Exchange Service) and ID.me are connected through ID.me's role in verifying military status to provide exclusive discounts for military members, veterans, and their families. To get AAFES benefits or AAFES-affiliated discounts through ID.me, you first create an ID.me account, verify your military status, and then shop on the ID.me Shop or at partner retailers that use the "Verify with ID.me" button at checkout.
