Amazing saw. I had the 7 1/4 and hated it as a right hand person couldn't see my cut. This 6 1/2 is wayyy better and plenty of power

Debating between this and the plunge saw, that one comes with a crappy xc5 battery though. How deep can you go with this and any MAJOR reason to pick plunge over circular saw?

It's interesting that the don't make a 7-1/4 left side blade top handle like this, just the rear handle usually used for carpentry. I have the rear handle because that's what I do.

I have both since sometimes I want the weight of the saw to be on the braced side. That said, if I had to have one it would probably be the 6 1/2 fuel on sale for a great price.

The Milwaukee tracksaw? It is bad ass, but sort of different applications. If you need to rip panels, then the tracksaw is awesome, but the tracks are not cheap. If you don't plan on getting tracks, then get the one in this post

I've seen tracks for sale here that are compatible and not outrageous in price. I think I'll get this to add another forge battery
