Does anyone know if these can use the standard 3" high speed cutoff disc? (Like from an air cutter)

I would imagine that as long as the RPMs aren't exceeded and the arbor size is the same then yes

This is for cutting like an angle grinder but for smaller things? Mostly for metal?

You can cut metal. There are different blades for drywall grout. Pretty much anything takes the standard 3-in

On the Home Depot website in the reviews, somebody showed that the kit comes with some arbor adapters to use a 3/8 diameter arbor blade. So hopefully that's included in the blemish kit.

Same blades. I really like this tool. Bought from DTO refurbished. Arrived in near perfect condition. Couple gripes: I wasn't impressed with the on board hex key storage do drilled a shape blind home and glued in a magnet to keep from losing the hex key. The other is size, which is only half fair. Bring 18v is had tons off power but with that it has a bigger footprint. The head swivels to allow you to change battery/cutting position but access is still limited in some applications. I ended up getting a 12v saw that has less power but can for into tighter areas. If space isn't a concern I'll grab this saw everytime.

One other nice feature is that you can change the cut direction. Really helpful to throw the sparks away from you when you can't cut from opposite direction.

Lastly this is the best price I've seen for both conditions.

I have the m12 fuel. like you said, that will probably fit in more places. But i got this for more power. Dewalt equivalent is on sale for $108 at Fasteners. i think they dewalt/ridgid have similar power.

I have the milwaukee fuel and love it for small metal and precision cuts. However, I was using it when installing laminate floor recently and the milwaukee was at times struggling to get through this. Will probably pick up on of these for jobs like that

These factory blemished and reconditioned Ridgid tools don't qualify for registering for lifetime warranty, correct?

Factory Blemished is covered As New with the LSA. You do have to register them.

Factory Reconditioned has a 1 year Warranty.

I really want this... But I can't think of any uses for it for me to justify the purchase 😅
