Everyone is just upset of the memory cartel's skyrocketing prices the last 2 months, and Micron's exit of the consumer market leaving only 2 MFG's actually making the abundance of chips.
At the original time of this posting there was a better faster WD drive for less but was sold out at most locations, probably caused some of the thumbs down as well
At this point no one knows how much we're all gonna be paying for both DRAM and FLASH storage. Go watch the Gamers Nexus videos on YT for more context about this and making PC's not affordable anylonger and forcing everyone into the cloud with monthly fees for everything to use + store.

Their downvotes on OP didn't age well. It's ~$750+ at all merchants except Amazon (soon to follow probably) now since Sandisk announced the price increases on NAND 3 days ago Big Grin
