AceMagic is the only brand that's actually been confirmed to have any malware on their hardware, and the risk is effectively zero if you just fully wipe the drive and do a clean install.

I know I'm going to get downvoted for this, but the terror over BIOS-level malware is extreme fearmongering and not something that anyone has ever proven to be a real risk with typical consumer minipcs.

I wouldn't trust the copy of Windows that came on any "eBay refurbished" machine, but I also would never be afraid of the hardware itself. It's fine.

Great question.

Short answer: Probably none of them are fully clean. OS malware, BIOS malware, chip-embedded malware. It's just not worth it.
