Can you redeem this if you already have a current Adobe CC subscription?

You can but you have to be careful. DO NOT follow Adobe's instructions for redeeming. That will result in you having two simultaneous subscriptions, and they will not fix it.You must go into your account, find your current subscription, and use the Redeem Code button on that existing subscription.Note it must be the exact same product (can't use this code to extend the plan with 20GB of cloud storage).

You want to make sure it's the same plan (1 TB). A different plan will result in 2 different simultaneous subscriptions. I always wait until mine is expiring before redeeming a new code.

Yes, But make sure you've got the SAME subscription.
There used to be a Photography package with 20GB of storage, and this one with the 1TB of storage and you can't extend one with the other since they're different products.

I don't think they sell the 20gb one anymore, but just be careful.

You'll also get two copies of the subscription if you use the normal redemption process now, even if it's the same product. According to Adobe support you have to use the process I mentioned above. Ask me how I know. Frown

I'm paying monthly for the my 20gb plan. It's been 1+ year so I can cancel it. They're offering 3 months free if I don't cancel. Can I go ahead and buy this deal, get my 3 months free then cancel anyway. and THEN start my 1TB plan? my 12mo paid subscription won't expire before I get to use it, right?

This is exactly what I did, and I'm probably going to get screwed. Waiting for Adobe chat right now. I logged into my account, found my current subscription, and used the Redeem Code button that was right next to the "Prepaid plan Redeem a new code by XX/XX/XXXX" information, as I'd always done in the past with no problems. Pasted the code, redeemed, and it started a new, identical 2nd plan for me. I was already on the 1 TB plan.

Well, as mentioned on the other thread (which I didn't realize existed, and hadn't read before redeeming), I'm supposedly getting the incorrectly-added plan canceled, a new code in 5-7 business days, and then redeeming *that* new code should extend my current plan. The agent wouldn't give me a straight answer on whether that new code will expire (in case I want to wait until my current plan expires next July to add it, to be sure), and if so, when. It is "being fixed according to back-end team" and when I asked for an email copy of the transcript, they said there'd be an option to download it once the chat ended (there wasn't). I took screenshots, copied the text, and got a reference # though.

I wasted over an hour on this. At first the agent tried to claim that I was informed that adding the code would start a new plan (I wasn't); then they said that it was because one plan was annual prepaid and the other was monthly (nope, they're both annual prepaid), and then that because I got the plan at a discount (I did not mention this, it must be visible on their end), that's why it wouldn't stack (never a problem in the past). What a PITA. Their whole model is subscription-based and there's zero clarity.

Oh, and their initial solution was for them to just cancel the existing plan (ends next July) and I could start using the new plan that expires next December. Uh, yeah, not doing that. Looks like you have to stay firm until they do the right thing, assuming everything goes well from here on out.

I'm getting the same thing, I don't see the $35 discount being applied
