I forgot to add a picture showing the discount. You can see it in the link below with both codes applied showing the $69.99 price. https://imgur.com/a/wfaESsq

Great price, but those 1-star reviews on Amazon are brutal, especially when it comes to power supplied to Apple peripherals. Anker's response to the reviewers seem too par for the course from them lately so I'll err on the side of avoiding this device.

Looks like they fixed it. I get "You can only apply one coupon code to this purchase."

Edit: I played around and tried to remove the anker code and then it applied both. Fingers crossed....

I went looking to see what they were talking about and just found some references to getting 60w charging a MacBook when it should have done better. Sounds like a firmware update fixed it for them, but Anker support was frustrating for them and kept blaming their cables even though ultimately they were able to fix it on their side.

I use this with a full Apple ecosystem, M1 MBP, M3 Pro MBP, iPads, airpods, iPhones (both lightning and USB and magsafe) as well as for a lot of embedded projects / microcontrollers. So far no complaints.

Repost of a comment from another deal but if you ask yourself who this is for basically it's a 250w gan charger you can connect up to 4 USB-C and 2 USB-A cables to. This gets rid of multiple small gan chargers you could have laying around, and if you need a consolidated charging solution in say a family area where everyone hangs out while watching TV, then you're set. I have it set up in the corner of my living room with multiple 10ft and 15ft USB-C cables so people can charge while on the couch and everyone gets maximum output to their phones or iPads. Also laptops, power tools, and appliances that also support USB-C can be fast charged now too, so it makes sense to have a solution like this. Promise I'm not an Anker shill, I just like their stuff because it's reliable.

I have two of these and have had since they came out. No issues with them. Only thing is you will see a disconnection briefly if you connect other devices since it has to essentially power shuffle which is pretty typical for such devices. So if you have a phone connected and you connect a laptop, you may see your iPhone disconnect for a split second. Other than that (which isn't unique to this charger), it's been great.

To be fair - I've also noticed some issues with qc 2 and 3 devices and certain cables not allowing the 'super fast charging' and had to do some trial and error with other chargers. YMMV.

Tech dummy here, is there an advantage of having this on my desk rather than my cheap usb station?

This one can power anything from a laptop to phone. I'm not sure about yours but the cheap ones don't usually supply a lot of power.

This is one though looks all fancy has current leakage problem I believe because it uses generic processors unlike Apple or Lenovo chargers which use their own in-house designed processors.

Hard limit of 3 per ebay account at least, no idea if they go beyond that but I'm not going to go that far for stocking stuffers .

In for 3 at least for folks in my list, thanks OP.

I've had 2 of these for a few months now - I really like them. They power all sorts of things, but nothing Apple except an iPad. The app is really cool. For me, a guy who collects gear (and lately a lot of EDC lights) it's nice to see data/graphs of what is being charged at what rate, is it consistent or cycling, etc. - you can even do manual control of charging ports if you're not happy with how the automatic charging rates are behaving.
Also, and I am NOT a shill for Anker - 4 or 5 months ago I had a smaller charger fail that I've used for more than a year, and I reached out to customer support and they responded promptly. I got a replacement charger and a free cable for my trouble.
I get that Anker isn't "what it used to be". But it doesn't suck for everyone.
Do I need a 3rd charger like this? Nah. Still getting one, though. Because it works well and scratches the geek itch.
