Who buys this stuff? This seems like the most niche, stupidest product. Do people define their personality based on a limited TV series from 30 years ago?

i bought a pair for my other office room a few months back and so far i would say it's well worth the price. the eva version is usually cheaper than the standard one i ended up getting that. sure you can probably get cheaper alphabet light bars but the key feature is that this device can act as your sync box for your other govee floor lamps/lights so it's nice to have them play a certain theme/mood.

regarding the branding, i would say the Govee G logo is the more annoying part of these bars and not the eva branding. i can barely tell it's eva themed when it's dark but that illuminated G logo is so distracting.

I bought an Evanglelion Edition Digital Audio Player, and I've never even watched Evangelion. I just thought it looked awesome, and had better specs than the normal version of the DAP.
