If these Bosch's are made like they used to be they last forever. I bought the $99 drill and 2 battery combo at Lowe's about 13-14 years ago and it is still going strong. The batteries still seem to last about as long as they did when they are new. It got a ton of use every day at work for the first 3-4 years and then came home for occasional use. I have owned multiple different platforms before Bosch and they always crapped out in 2-3 years, between stripped chucks in Rigids that wouldn't hold a bit without spinning and a trigger that only worked half the time to Makita's that both batteries died to the point where it wouldn't even operate in less than 2 years and Milwaukee that had batteries get weak and wouldn't last long after 3 or so years.
I have recently went all in on Bosch for home use. I bought the hammer drill, impact, circular saw, reciprocating saw, vacuum, 10" miter saw, and flashlight. I have not used them a ton, but everything works great. The best part is the deals I got on them. I got the 4 piece kit for $149, the miter saw with 2 batteries for $179, and the sawzall for $59. If you stalk Slickdeals you can find some incredible value on Bosch tools.

The Flex FX1131-1A is $79 and the Kobalt (Lowe's) KDD 2024A-03 is also $79 and both have higher output (850 and 900) and volts. But the Bosch is much lighter but total output is only 400.

The Bosch 18V line has more versatile tools and a clearer future than Flex, and at least is offered more widely than Kobalt. If you really need a beefy drill you're probably buying a bigger hammer drill, with these low end offerings get whatever matches the battery platform you're already in / want to be in.

Bought one as a gift for a friend instead of some other $30. drill on Amazon, although may not get here until after Christmas, I can hope otherwise, and it is what it is. Tried to repped you, OP, but could not. Thank you.

Unless you are in or going to be in the Bosch ecosystem just pay a little more for the Ryobi deal posted elsewhere

Limited time deal per Amazon. Drill, battery, charger, and a bag for ~$60. Sort of slick.

I'd take Bosch over yellow all day. Only advantage yellow has is peace of mind that nobody will steal it from a jobsite. If you happen to lose it, it'll come right back to you.

Yellow to me is DeWalt, and Ryobi is green (albeit a yellow green).
