You order the gift cards like you would any other item you buying online. You wait up to 24 hours for them to email you. You copy/paste the codes they send you into a box on Nintendo's site. You add the switch to cart like you would any other online product and when it asks if you want I apply the gift cards to your total you click OK. Easy.
Total time spent in this should not have taken more than 5 mins total.
Community Reviews
The Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle stands out as a strong launch package, especially when paired with Best Buy price matching or PayPal 20 percent cashback, which can bring the effective cost down by about $50 to $90. The console itself gets praise for solid build quality, excellent rumble, and social features like Game Chat, while the bundle is framed as a better value than buying the system and game separately. The main drawback is the price, especially once extra storage and $60 to $80 games are factored in. A solid bundle if you can catch one of the stacking discounts.
PayPal can show pending rewards points shortly after purchase and later deposit them into the account.
PayPal Pay in 4 can reduce the final payment after a price match refund is applied.
Best Buy price matching can work within the return window while PayPal adjusts the Pay in 4 payments.
Game Chat can act as a social "killer app" by letting players share screens and voice chat with another Switch 2.
The bundle can feel too expensive once extra storage needs and game keycard pricing are factored in.
Mario Kart World can feel underwhelming compared with expectations, and DK Bonanza can feel repetitive.
Best Buy price matching may be restricted for high-demand products, including cases where Walmart has the same sale.
Pay in 4 eligibility can break when the order includes trade-ins, extended insurance, or gift card redemption steps.

Until they start producing several quality exclusives for the Switch 2, there is little reason to make the jump from the Switch 1.
I was skeptical, but our kids are loving being able to share screens & do voice chat with a friend who also has a Switch 2. The social dynamic seems a lot closer to how I remember it feeling playing single player games with friends growing up.

Nintendo is super successful, but we don't have to cape for them so hard.
I am a diehard Ninty fan and have owned every previous console, most of them on day one. I just can't with the insane Ninty tax anymore.
Even if the games were like $50-60 and the accessories similarly priced, I could maybe justify it.
It's only going to get worse when they start pushing first party games as key cards, and now you're tasked with spending $150+ for a large enough microsd express card to hold more than 2 games.
Suddenly you're out $1,000 and all you have got to show for it is more stick drift and a worse Mario Kart than 8 Deluxe.
