lol the way this has slowly rolled out across retailers shows that there was some sort of last minute memo from nintendo allowing people to reduce prices for Cyber Monday. Sales probably not as strong as they had hoped.

It was super easy.
You order the gift cards like you would any other item you buying online. You wait up to 24 hours for them to email you. You copy/paste the codes they send you into a box on Nintendo's site. You add the switch to cart like you would any other online product and when it asks if you want I apply the gift cards to your total you click OK. Easy.

Total time spent in this should not have taken more than 5 mins total.

I never got a switch 1 so I was initially excited for the launch but now 6 months after release I realized that the only games i'm interested in playing are all switch 1 games lmao

Same boat here. And, we don't know what the reviews will be like for Metroid Prime 4 yet. Other than that, and maybe Donkey Kong Bonanza, I don't see any reason to buy a switch 2 this year at all. There aren't many exclusive games if you already have a switch. Mario Kart World also isn't as good as MK8 from what most people say.

I used the paypal 20% once already. is it only limited to one use? I try brining up paypal to check out the best buy purchase, I could no longer see the pay in 4 option. any idea?

MK8 had the benefit of getting DLC, a rerelease, and even more DLC. I'd would have been surprised if World was better on launch unless it was made with buttloads of reused content from MK8D and Tour.

People keep pointing to that like it matters. What matters is whether or not it maintains sales over its lifetime. It has no chance of matching the lifetime sales of the first Switch. So, this whole "fastest selling console in its first few months/year" thing is irrelevant.

So annoying earlier today I ordered one from Walmart using my wife's pay in 4 option for 20% off and returned the one from Best Buy because they wouldn't price match before the price change!

The limit is $-based. Many were limited to $1,350. I saw $800 and $900 reports, too. Somehow, I got $1,500.

I did the earlier 20% off thing with this bundle at Best Buy. They just price matched for me and PayPal reduced the last of the four payments by the ~$50.
