lol the way this has slowly rolled out across retailers shows that there was some sort of last minute memo from nintendo allowing people to reduce prices for Cyber Monday. Sales probably not as strong as they had hoped.
It was super easy.
You order the gift cards like you would any other item you buying online. You wait up to 24 hours for them to email you. You copy/paste the codes they send you into a box on Nintendo's site. You add the switch to cart like you would any other online product and when it asks if you want I apply the gift cards to your total you click OK. Easy.
Total time spent in this should not have taken more than 5 mins total.
The limit is $-based. Many were limited to $1,350. I saw $800 and $900 reports, too. Somehow, I got $1,500.
I did the earlier 20% off thing with this bundle at Best Buy. They just price matched for me and PayPal reduced the last of the four payments by the ~$50.
Thanks, that is strange. I previously purchased only $100. but now I can no longer see the pay in 4 option when I tried paypal check out

Certain things aren't eligible for the 4 payment thing. Trade-ins ruin it on some sites. Keep your order as simple/vanilla as possible and try again. Extended insurance, for example, might mess it up. Or redeeming gift cards for partial payment.

I only see pay later option, which is not pay in 4. I keep it simple, only purchase the console.

So pay 12 months isn't eligible for 20% rewards, only pay in 4? I used pay in 4 in November on a google nest WiFi bundle at Best Buy but also still eligible for one more purchase until dec 2
People seem to have problems either gift cards via Costco/Sams club

I'm just going to wait for the Oled version to come out.
Terrible idea. No way I'm waiting several years just to hopefully get a slightly better screen if they release an OLED version (Nevermind it will also come with a price increase). Even if you wanted to do that it would still be better to just get the current switch 2 at $100 off using the sams or Costco method and then sell this switch later and use the funds in order to get an OLED version. You'll be able to sell your switch 2 likely for either profit or break even assuming you are getting $100 off now.
