This looks very similar to the "AVANTI" Harbor Freight model that sells for around $59.99 which I have. I've also used another no-name brand sprayer that looks almost exactly like both of these, and all 3 are made with similar parts, operate similarly, have medeocre-at-best spray patterns, and are all equally difficult to tune and clean. They do work for thinner liquids that have the consistency of water, but definitely not for thicker liquids such as latex paint, even if you thin the latex because the cheap pump is simply not strong enough to create enough pressure to correctly spray thicker liquids. They are more difficult to clean, and to keep clean while using it and they tend to get more clogs during use than a higher quality sprayer such as a $200 Wagner but that obviously costs a lot more than this one. So if you want to spray thin liquids and aren't concerned about really smooth and even spray patterns then this will actually work OK most of the time, it is a great deal for this price, but it will have a higher failure rate than a "good" brand. It is so cheap that if I was going to buy this, I'd buy 2, 3, or even 4 of them just so I'd have a couple backups when one eventually fails, and so I'd have donor parts to swap when something breaks rather than having to buy a whole new setup.

Not this one, but I recently sprayed my 330i with the Wagner gun. The only problem I had was the clear ran after I cleaned the gun. My fault because I messed with the material flow knob. I waited a month, lightly sanded the clear and put on another few coats of clear. The car is darn near perfect, except where a bee though my hood was a great place to demonstrate the breast stroke.

Couldn't find much for real life reviews on this...

Anyone have experience with this specific model?

I'm also curious. I can't see this thing having much longevity.

I'm thinking about buying it to easily spray paint my chicken coop. Thoughts?

Is this good enough to spray a 500 sq ft deck and a 6 ft entry door? Different paints, obviously..

I would recommend Raptor liner. You can pick it up on Amazon and it comes with a sprayer. You just need a compressor. It is a bedliner, and it looks pretty rugged. Great for jeeps, and old SUVs, but I am sure you could make any old beater look good with it.

Love raptor liner. The best I used so far. On my truck and ATV, held up for years. No issues. I used the rattle can.
