Bought this in July 2024 on Amazon to have a spare meter in the garage, mostly to check continuity on circuits. I paid $10.27 back then. Currently $13.72 on Amazon for cyber Monday. $24.95 on Walmart. Comes in handy for my needs.

Reviews seem decent on Amazon. Good price for a casual user. Assume accuracy is one of things sacrificed at this price point?

I picked up one for a second to have around. I hate having to chase around trying to remember where I left my good one.

Does it have any delay in the continuity alert?

Go for the one nef003 posted above.

I mean, sure, accuracy is sacrificed to a point. But when measuring items, does it really matter if a AA battery shows 1.25 or 1.27 volts? Or an outlet 119.0 or 119.5 volts? That's up to you. For basic stuff, these are great. If you really need dead accurate measurement, you'll probably get a Klein on a budget or just go for a Fluke.

Get a Uni-T if you want accuracy without the Fluke price for the prosumer.

I have two of these and the appeal is not accuracy, not features, but size. It's a great meter for the price and it's about half the size of most budget meters.

Sweet, in for 1. Upgrading from the cheap harbor freight multimeter lol. I only really use it for electronics and battery testing.
