Dyson Animal 3 is coming through as a strong pet hair vacuum with plenty of suction and a track record of lasting for years. The brush head is praised for pulling up hair without clogging, and the vacuum is described as a solid replacement for older Dyson uprights. The main cautions are that it can be too strong for some rugs, and parts or repairs may be harder to handle if something breaks. The Lowe's member price also appears to land at $229.99 in cart, though other prices and alternatives were mentioned.
The vacuum can handle heavy pet hair and canister debris effectively for pet households.
The member discount appears to apply automatically after signing into a Lowe's account.
The deal price can be confirmed at checkout as $229.99 with a $120 member savings.
Using Lowe's rewards or a Kroger gift card can reduce the total cost to just over $200 with tax.
Dyson has reportedly discontinued its third-party repair program, which may limit local repair options.
Dyson parts may be hard to obtain if a replacement is needed later.
The vacuum can be too strong for a Ruggable rug and may pull the rug off the velcro.
The warranty length shown on Lowe's website may conflict with expectations for a longer warranty period.
